Tidy Tile Mapper: The Final Game

Here is a link to my final game:
http://www.kongregate.com/games/mikeflyy/project-tidy-tile-mapper

The game consists of 3 levels of rolling a ball through various mazes and platforms.
Instructions: Arrow keys to move, space bar to jump, "R" to reset map

Game icon on Kongregate:

The first level is an elevated platform surrounded by a landscape:

The second level is a maze in lava:

The third level is another maze but this time, the maze is a side scroller. The ball can jump by pressing the space bar. You must reach the bottom-right corner of the maze to complete the game:

After the third levels beaten, you are then taken to an End level scene:

Summary of class experience:
Being in this class definitely taught me a lot about Unity and made me like my minor in Game Design & Development a lot more. I learned a great amount, even though I was intimidated at first in the beginning, I was able to pick up the program quite easily and create a fully functioning game that I am happy about. I certainly will be taking more game design classes and hopefully I will be able to continue to create more games.

Tidy Tile Mapper - Level 1

This is my first level still in profess. Tidy Tile Mapper is difficult to work with at first. The program definitely has a lot to offer. But so far I have made a Roll-A-Ball map with hills and dips.

I plan on adding custom textures to the level.

Roll-A-Ball: Reference Gathering

For the next Roll-A-Ball/Tile Mapper game, I've decided to make a game where if you fall of the platform you die. It has twist and turns and hills and bumps that you must be able to maneuver through. I've also thought of doing a maze type Roll-A-Ball (showed in the 3rd picture). I will try to incorporate a maze into the Roll-A-Ball maps by putting up walls and dead ends of some sort.

Updated Progress on RPG Starter Kit

Here are some screenshots on what I've been working on so far in the RPG Starter Kit:

I changed the floors to blue for all the interiors of the houses.

I outlined the path in black to make it stand out more. I also added a floor light outside of the players other house.

I added new NPC dialogue to every character.

I also changed the gems to coins as you can see in the top left corner.

More changed dialogue.
I changed the bat enemies into other different types of bats, and I also created a new monster: the snowman.

Design Doc - 3 paragraphs (with a logo)

Game logo I created
This game will deal with the main character being stuck in a witness protection program and has to fight his way out to escape. The character (Joseph) lives in a town with other people part of the program. The witness protection sight has surrounding monster areas that are meant to protect the town from intruders. Joseph wants to escape, and he will do anything he can to do so.

Joseph is a 22 year old guy who was placed in this witness protection because he saw a bank robbery and the man got away. Joseph identified the man, and the robber threatened Joseph that if he ever saw him again, he would kill him. But Joseph wants to kill the robber before he can get to him. In order to escape, Joseph must collect a key to the door to the outside world.

Joseph has to use his weapons that he has to kill the monsters and talk to people around town about how he could escape. The different people in town have different clues that lead to the key to the outside world. Once Joseph has the key, he is free to escape from protection.
